Veterans Day Parade
Attention all American Legion Post members. .
American Legion Post 74 and Auxiliary members are planning to participate in the upcoming Veterans Day Parade on November 11, 2025. We will acquire and decorate a trailer for us to sit on in the parade. If you are interested in participating, please meet behind the city library (between H and I Street). Please wear your legion hats and arrive no later than 08:15 am on November 11. Parade starts at 09:00
The theme for this year's parade is the end of WWII.

Oratorical Contest
The American Legion Oratorical Contest exists to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. Young orators earn some of the most generous college scholarships available to high school students. The overall national contest winner gets a $25,000 scholarship. Second place takes home $22,000 and third gets $20,000. For more information, click here www.legion.org

Our dedicated group of veterans span all eras and conflicts. We continue to serve in our local community by remembering those who served before us, sponsoring youth programs, and playing an active role in our community events especially those that promote patriatisom.

We are a congressionally chartered veterans organization which has been serving this community for over 100 years. Breakfast Every Third Saturday of the month
TheAmerican Legion hosts a full service breakfast from 7:00 to 11:00 am. Made to order omelets, sausages, hash browns and other items. Come join us.
